Working Maelzel Metronome

A lovely working very early metronome from the Maelzel company.  This is rarer than the standard versions as it is fitted with a fixed winder and hinged door.

This wind-up metronome has mid hard wood oak case which is in great condition for its age, please see the images.
 
This lovely vintage piece is a great gift for collectors, musicians or just to add an element of fun to any decor on a shelf or sideboard.  

The mechanism has been lightly cleaned so it is in good working order.  Just wind up when needed and enjoy the rhythmic tock!
