Fabulous Ercol Cowhorn Fireside chair with wide arms and distinctive back. A model 451 dates back to 1957.
This is beautifully formed chair that is extremely comfortable with a smooth back that wraps to an elbow arm. Its beautiful shape will just look great in any room.
CONDITION:
The seat is lovely, with some signs of ware which you would expect for a chair of this age. It still has its original studs to mount a cushion (these can be bought separately). This can be seen on the photos.
A few wear marks on the arms and back which is from use and commensurate with age and only adds to the beauty.
Solid condition with no wobble or loose joints.
This chair has be professionally cleaned and waxed to remove dust and grime build up, but no renovation so it is in original condition.
That being said as to be expected there are some markings, scratches and some dents, all commensurate with age, but nothing that can be pointed out as an issue. Please look through all the images and don't hesitate to contact us for more information.
