Antique French Majolica Cat Absinthe Jug

This lovely quality French majolica absinthe pitcher of a cat night-club singer with a mandolin produced by the Orchies factory, circa 1886-1900.  Orchies started producing majolica at the end of the 19th century and by the early 1900s produced over twenty molds of humorous majolica jugs featuring animals.

Condition:  In superb condition with no damage and the colours are still very strong.
