Antique French Paper Mache Tortoise,
This fantastic French antique paper mache tortoise is well over 100 years old and is in great antique condition with some of his covering on the underside showing ware and historic repairs. He is life like size and has been made by a talented craftsman as his shell and overall look id extremley realistic and would have orignally be made and owned by a wealth family when tortoises where still seen as very exotic.
Due to the materials used to construct him these items are becoming rarer and rarer.
