This fantastic antique French wooden dog cart is a real find. In original condition still with the metal banded wagon wheels and hubs. Finished in a dark red paint which has started to peel and flake in areas, it also still has the original arm for pulling the cart or attaching your dogs to. The wagon has had some repairs over the years but these just add to the looks. This would be a stunning fantastic addition to a porch or under a Christmas tree.
We have done minimal work to the cart to keep it as original as possible but have removed much of the loose paint and dirt. The cart dose have historic woodworm damage which we have done additional treatment to make sure.
The long handle for pulling the trolley can easily be removed by taking out a single bolt so making it easier to display.
