Antique Majolica Cat Jug

This wonderful jug in the shape of a cat or possibly a bear would have originally been used to store syrup or honey.  Made in approx. 1880 from majolica this follows the tradition of character jugs of the period.  This would make a great addition to any collection or a great starting piece.

In good antique condition with a small hairline crack above the eye and small chip out of the inside of the rim, both which are to be expected due to the age.
