Ercol Grandfather Rocking Chair model 315

Fabulous blonde Ercol Grandfather rocking chair with wide low seat and high back. A model 315 blue label, this dates the from the 1950's or 1960s. 

This is beautifully balanced with a smooth rock and long skids to prevent the chair tipping backwards.  This the light blonde version in beech & elm... generously proportioned, comfortable and in great solid condition.   Image 9 shows the chair with a base cushion (not supplied) and image 10 shows with base cushion and back cushion (not supplied).

CONDITION:
The seat is lovely, no scratches and super grain, there is a slight split to one of the legs which is age related and one of the skids has an area where the lacquer has come off neither effect the use of the chair. This can be seen on the photos.
A few wear marks on the arms and back which is from use and commensurate with age and only adds to the beauty.
Solid condition with no wobble or loose joints. 
This chair has be professionally cleaned and waxed to remove dust and grime build up, but no renovation so it is in original condition.  
That being said as to be expected there are some markings, scratches and some dents, all commensurate with age, but nothing that can be pointed out as an issue.  Please look through all the images and don't hesitate to contact us for more information.
