Pair of Vintage Grape Shaped Christmas Decorations

Pair of vintage grape shaped baubles, dating from the 1950s/1960s. These are well loved and have been used for many Christmases with a lovely used patina, with some areas of silver showing through. They are not perfect, but they're still stunning, even in this timeworn condition. I hope I look as good at this age!

Each is 5cm high

These will be supplied in the original box and carefully packaged so you can use them year after year.

Our packaging is single-use plastic free: anything we have bought is plastic free. However we will also re-use plastic (foam, bubble wrap etc.) if it means we can keep it out of landfill and get more use from it.

VINTAGE BAUBLE CARE
Vintage glass baubles are very delicate, but with the right care should give you many more years of joy.

CLEANING
Use a soft dry cloth or soft brush only to gently remove any surface grime. Do not use anything damp or abrasive as this is likely to remove any decoration, revealing the original silvered glass underneath. If your baubles do come into contact with moisture, allow them to dry thoroughly before touching the surface.

STORAGE
Use the acid-free tissue supplied to rewrap your baubles before carefully storing in a box. If you can, use the original packaging or one of our brown boxes. Don’t place heavier items on top of the box.

Store in a cool dry place, and avoid anywhere it gets very hot or very cold. Any dampness or humidity could cause the surface decoration to lift.
