Set of Three Antique Joseph Holdcroft Syrup Jugs

Joseph Holdcroft was a renowned potter working for Wedgwood and Minton's before setting up on his own specialising in majolica. This set of three majolica syrup jugs in the style of bears where produced c1875 when Joseph Holdcroft was producing his best works. These jugs are being sold as a set as wont be split.

Condition: - All three jugs are in excellent antique condition with no damage to any jar and all three bears still have all their teeth. There is crazing to the inside of the bowl which is to be expected due to the age of the pieces.

Dimensions:

Small bear - 21cm tall, 10cm wide, 14cm deep
Medium bear - 28cm tall, 12cn wide, 18cm deep
Large bear - 33cm tall, 15cm wide, 22cm deep
