Vintage Delfts Blauw Royal G Wall Plate, hand painted in Holland.

Delftware or Delft pottery, also known as Delft Blue (Dutch: Delfts blauw), is a general term now used for Dutch tin-glazed earthenware, a form of faience. Most of it is blue and white pottery, and the city of Delft in the Netherlands was the major centre of production.

This Royal G wall plate for part of a series of six plates and this is plate number 5. As can be seen on the reverse of the plates these are all hand painted. All of the plates are chip free and in excellent condition.
