This great French enamel seed/feed bucket dates back to the early/mid 20th century and would have originally been used to store seed or feed for farm animals such as chickens, the heavy lid would have kept the contents safe and dry. It is fitted will a metal and wooden handle which is still in great condition as is the lid and container, some of the very thick enamel has been chipped over the years and the rim has taken a knock (see all images) but this only adds to the beauty of the piece.
This would look fantastic in a country kitchen or pantry and would still be great to store pet food or treats.
