A lovely working very early metronome from the Maelzel company, fitted with a fixed key.
This wind-up metronome has mid hard wood oak case which is in great condition for its age, please see the images, The side has come away slightly from the back but is still solid this is due to the metronome wood drying through age.
This lovely vintage piece is a great gift for collectors, musicians or just to add an element of fun to any decor on a shelf or sideboard.
The mechanism has been lightly cleaned so it is in good working order. Just wind up when needed and enjoy the rhythmic tock!
