A very handsome vintage majolica lobster plate by Alvaro Jose of Caldsa da Rainha.
In superb condition with no damage to the surface, high gloss majolica lobster sat on sand with shells to the edge. These highly decorative plates are extremely collectable. Stamped to the rear and still has the four hanging loop. There is some damage to the rear which can be clearly seen in the images and has been taken into account in the pricing.

The plate surface is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, ready to be displayed, the back of the plate does have some damage that is shown in the images and the price has been adjusted to take this into consideration.
