These genuine vintage wooden bobbin reels, which were traditionally used in cotton mills in the North of England to hold lengths of cotton during the manufacturing process - they are all empty! and being sold in pairs.
Made of Beechwood and measuring 18 cm long, each end has steel edges and is 5.5 cm in diameter.
These bobbins may be used for many functional or decorative purposes - we use them as sturdy hooks, drilled to the wall through the centre, to hang heavy items and coats, lamp bases or large handles.
The possibilities are endless.
Lovely decorative items ideal for adding character to a room - also great for use as props for photos
